Founded in 1916 in Parma, the Acqua di Parma company started out by offering an Eau de Cologne intended to scent the handkerchiefs of elegant men. Since the 1930s, this Eau de Cologne or " Colonia " has become a real symbol of Italian elegance. Its success has contributed to the international development of the brand, particularly in the United States.
Now based in Milan, Acqua di Parma relies on a very exclusive distribution network with around 900 sales outlets worldwide, including their own boutique in Milan and corners in department stores, and is planning the progressive roll-out of boutiques in the main capital cities.
Acqua Di Parma Colonia Cologne by Acqua Di Parma,
Designed as a unisex fragrance, Acqua di Parma Colonia is a deliciously balanced blend of citrus, floral and woody herbal notes that embodies the retro-traditional aesthetic of this luxury perfume house.
The top notes are cleanly aromatic and bright, mingling the sparkling tones of Sicilian citrus fruits with the soothing yet energizing aspects of lavender and lemon verbena.
This brisk introduction quickly resolves into an herb and flower heartof delicately camphorous rosemary leaf, lemon-and-powder red rose petal and the smoke and chocolate facets of woody vetiver.
Rich, resinous amber and earthy-sweet patchouli blend with soft sandalwood and creamy musk to produce a deliciously smooth, lingering finish that projects for hours.
