The history of this famous brand goes back to 1913, when the founders, Mario and his brother Martino, opened their first boutique in Milan. Their store featured leather luggage. Eventually, Mario’s daughter, Luisa, took over the company. Her daughter, Muiccia, then took over after her. Under Miuccia’s direction, the brand evolved and branched out to producing shoes, accessories and then a women’s clothing line and fragrances. Miuccia turned the company into a worldwide sensation and the brand now has 75 perfumes under its fashion umbrella
As long ago as 2003, meanwhile, Prada began offering exclusive (and numbered) ‘artisan fragrances’ through their boutiques, and a handful of department stores, each focusing on a single note: Orange Flower, Tuberose, Opoponax, Violet, etc. And in 2015, they revisited this idea with a complete, breathtaking collection, created by Daniela Andrier and known as Les Infusions de Prada – arrayed left. Prada Candy Perfume by Prada, Released in August of 2011, Prada Candy perfume has a vivacious energy to it that cannot be beat.Its composition exudes elegance from the very top, which consists of notes of various musky accords. Benzoin and balsamic vanilla exist in the heart while the base brings out the aroma of caramel. Daniela (Roche) Andrier is the nose behind this gorgeous perfume. She initially studied philosophy until she found a deep passion for perfumery. She honed her craft at Chanel and Roure.
